Tentative Itinerary

Tentative Plans (for 10-12 people) December 30th – Drive down to Mobile, AL. (1000 miles, 16 hours). Halfway is about Nashville, TN. (10 hours). Stay the night in Nashville. *We can always make the decision to stay the night during the trip down December 31st – Wake up early and finish the drive to Grandmas. NYE – Party with the Bugg’s January 1st – Spend the day in town, stay another night at the Bugg’s January 2nd – Board the cruise at the earliest time available (ship leaves at 4pm, I believe boarding is at 11am) January 2nd – 7th – Have fun! January 7th – Leave the boat at 8am, start the drive back. Stop in Louisville, KY (10 hours), stay the night. January 8th – Wake up, finish the drive back to EL/Rochester (6 hours) Price Cruise = $279 Hotel Rooms = $30/night (based on 3 rooms, 10 people) Fuel (per car) – 2000 miles / 20 (miles/gal) = 100 gal * $2.50/gal = $250 / 4 people = $62.5 = about $65 per person = $279+27.9(tax)+60+65 = $431.9 Variables Food (while driving and in Alabama) = $70-$150 Cruise drinks = $20-40/day * 5 days = $100-$200 Souvenirs = $50-$100 Shore Excursions = $0-$100 (most of them are around $99, go to the website for more details) = $70+100+50 = $230 (underestimate) = $150+200+100+100 = $550 (overestimate) Roughly = $661.9 - $981.9 *All of these prices are the maximum that you would have to pay *Assumptions • Bugg’s family offers us a place to stay • We are using 3 vehicles (preferably SUV’s) • There are 4 people per car (could be 5 with SUV’s, but keep in mind we also need room for 10 days worth of luggage) • There will be 2 nights we stay in a hotel Website - Go to carnival.com, search for Jan 2010, leaving from Mobile, AL, click on the Jan 2nd one http://www.carnival.com/Itinerary.aspx?embkCode=MOB&itinCode=MBG&durDays=5&shipCode=FA&subR egionCode=CW&rateCode=PPB&sailingID=48222&sailDate=1/2/2010
