Material updates Vocabulary and picture prompts for language teaching - book 1 This is the first booklet in a series of four, with pictures drawn by a native Finnish artist, Petra Bergström and a native Canadian artist Annette Hansen. The booklet contains 25 numbered picture worksheets and 25 A4 pictures as well as other bonus worksheets: "Differences/similarities" worksheets and "What is wrong" worksheets . All the worksheets are photocopiable to use in class. We hope you will find the material useful; comments and feedback is always appreciated! You can download a sample from the book in PDF format from here. The book will soon be available in our online shop at the price of 5€ and on CD at the price of 15€ (shipped to your location). Teacher training and students camps Apply for a Comenius grant until 31 March There is still time to apply for Comenius funding to attend a professional development course for teachers, trainers and other ELT professionals at one of our Partner Schools! If you are a teacher, teacher-trainer or other ELT professional in Europe, you can apply to the European Union for a grant of up to €1500 to attend a 2-week training course. The grant is awarded under the Comenius initiative to cover tuition, accommodation and travel. Please note that the next deadline for application is 31 March 2008 (for activities starting between 1 July 2008 and 30 September 2008) See the full range of specialist courses eligible for Comenius funding in 2007, download the necessary forms and find out how you can apply for a grant in 5 easy steps by visiting our website.
