OWLS TC-40 is a standard part of the OWLS 120 system. Optionally OWLS TC-80 can be ordered.
Description:
OWLS TC-40 (TC-80) provides in-situ, vibration free, Peltier-controlled heating or cooling of the sensor holder in the temperature range from 20 oC to 40 oC (optionally from 20 oC to 80 oC) The heating/cooling operation of the Peltier device is controlled by an OMRON controller built-into the TC unit. The required temperature value can be set on the controller display (second line on the display), the actual temperature in the sensor holder is displayed in the first line. The required temperature may be set by using the up and down arrows on the panel. The TC unit is equipped with a safety overheat protection circuit, that does not allow to heat the sample holder above the preset temperature value (the temperature limit is factory set to 85 °C) in case of any kind control failure.
Features:
Temperature stability of the sensor chip is better than 0.1 oC Heating/cooling rate is about 8 oC/min.
