What Is a LARGE Business??? Generally businesses in need of receivables financing
from $7,50,000 to $3 million monthly. A business with over 250 employees. A firm that does not meet the criteria for Small Business. Small Business: Small businesses are considered small when receivables financing is needed from $5,000 to $1,50,000 monthly. Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata starts a private trading firm laying the foundation of the Tata Group. 1 9 0 7 The Tata Iron and Steel Company is established to set up India’s first iron and steel plant in Jamshedpur, which started production in 1912. 1 9 1 0 The first of the three Tata Electric Companies, the Tata Hydro-Electric Power Supply Company, is set up to generate electricity.

TATA Motors (Contd.) Starting with commercial vehicles in 1954, it entered the
passenger vehicles segment in 1991. The Tata Indica, India’s first indigenously designed car, launched in 1998. In November 2007, the company rolled off the millionth car on the Indica platform. The company launched the Indigo in 2002, the Indigo Marina in 2004, and the Indigo XL in 2007.
