Tao Resurrection She found it empty Resonating with the quiet That fills the heavens – And that was enough for Mary. Only a woman Can fully value empty space Containing nothing But the infinite potential Of Easter moments Hidden in the darkness within The not-yet of life, Awaiting their embodiment In reality. John and Peter found it barren, An empty vessel Bereft of its prior contents, And began to think. Imagination took over, Filling in the void Holding their dread anxieties Of powerlessness; And, once more, dictated the terms For God's admittance Into the affairs of mankind, Creating a space Truly fit as the tomb of God. Emptiness rumbles In the silence a woman hears, Like a fetal kick Announcing the presence of life Fed on the substance Within the darkness of the womb; While men hear nothing Save the endless proclamations Of their salvation, The noise drowning their demon fears In the tombs they make.
