What are the benefits of TACT? Gain meaningful experiences & leadership skills: Each project will give teens a chance to be a “project leader”. Project Leaders will be responsible for organizing materials and teams to complete each task. Make an impact in the community & give community service a good name: TACT will give teens the opportunity to become familiar with local organizations and community groups. We want teens to be a visible part of making this community great! And… It looks great on college resumes!

Organizations: This is your opportunity to use a valuable resource—teens! Groups will be supervised by staff and adult volunteers. Let TACT help complete projects while you cultivate the next generation of volunteers. Make that connection!

T A C T: Teens Affecting Communities Today What is TACT? Teens Affecting Communities Today (TACT) links teen volunteers with community and local organizations to provide meaningful community service experiences.

Who participates in TACT?  Local

junior high and high school students  Local organizations seeking teen volunteers

What will we do in TACT?

At least one Saturday each month we will choose a project. Any TACT member or organization can suggest a monthly project. Projects can include:  Neighbor Cleanup 

Community beautification



Painting and cleaning



Organizing a community dinner



Helping with a Food Drive



Helping with a community event
