Nimbus VIP Many weeks before the end of the Olympic Games in Beijing, the rubber experts from TIBHAR had prepared several new rubber samples for top players such as Vladimir Samsonov to test. In order for Vladi and other top players to make a smooth transition from the era of ‘speed gluing’ to the new future of table tennis equipment it was important for any replacement rubber to provide the highest level of capabilities. Immediately after his return from the Olympic Games Vladi set out to test the sample rubbers. During the whole team event, Vladi did not loose one single game and showed great performances with 3:0 victories over Timo Boll and Dimitri Ovtcharov the number 2 and 3 ranked players in Europe.
