but….. , It obliges the “INVOLVED” mind
‘MUSIC’ Is no exception To this queer Phenomenon
A
‘Pre-Historic’ MUSIC permeates down our cultures In two streams, in the most ‘Mysterious’ manner !
And yet …/ It had evoked NO interest in Our minds so far !
The Western stream Composes music Based only on Mathematical ‘Fractions’, Not knowing how to Calibrate the Octave !
On the contrary, The Indian stream Composes music based only on the calibrated Octave, Not knowing what Mathematical ‘Fractions’ are all about !
The
‘Divine Irony’, however, Is such that This ‘Pre-Historic’ MUSIC Would get unveiled ONLY when these two Streams are ‘INTEGRATED’ !!
In my Book, I have pointed out that The veil surrounding The ‘pre-Historic’ Music is by NO means, “Accidental”
It is a “Deliberate Act” By its designers To effect ‘compression’ so that the same Could be passed on to a ‘NEW (but primitive !) CIVILIZATION’ Through ‘Oral’ traditions
The ‘KEYS’ for decoding had been passed down In the form of ‘Sumerian Pantheon’ And the ‘Vedic Tones’ and ‘Associated Musicology’ in India
This
‘pre-Historic’ Music Is based on ‘2200’ cents per octave, as opposed to our Contemporary music that is based on 1200 cents !
The ‘pre-Historic’ Music Is also highly ‘structured’ With plenty of ‘Consonance’ and ‘Assonance’ content
