Term and Grading. Students will complete all assigned work by the end of class. Class work to be made-up will be posted on the home work page. Quizzes will be announced at the beginning of each week on the homework page. Test dates will be announced one week prior. All students will bring pen and paper to class each day without exception. Grades will be posted for each week in the form of an average. Graded individual assignments / quizzes will be returned to students, but a scanned copy will be kept for parental referral. Missing assignments will be recorded as zero unless or until it is made up. This may be done for half (50%) credit, at any time during the quarter, or for full credit within the time period stipulated in the Student Handbook for excused absences (historically this has been within one class day after the return to school: e.g. work missed because of an excused absence on a Friday must be turned in no later than Tuesday (if Monday is a school day); work missed due to excused absence Th-Fri (2 days), must be turned in no later than the following Wednesday (if Monday is a school day).
