Support CDM’s Work: Centro de los Derechos del Migrante, Inc. (Center for Migrant Rights) is the first transnational workers' rights law center based in Central Mexico. We are an innovative non-profit organization dedicated to improving the working conditions of migrant workers in the United States. Operating throughout Mexico, CDM’s constituency includes migrant workers and their family members, U.S. and Mexican organizations that serve migrant workers, as well as government officials who work with migrant populations or who develop policies affecting migrants. Support Fair workers: We need the support of people all over the country to help us reach out to migrant workers at local fairs who may not know their rights under U.S. laws. Check the regional maps provided to your Cena host for information on your local fairs. When your state or county fair comes to your town, you can help our campaign and organizing efforts by: •

Talking to the workers (migrants or local) and inform them about CDM, pass along our information if they have a problem on the job (tell workers to call CDM toll free from the U.S. at (800) 401-5901). We need visuals for our public campaign! Take pictures of rides, workers, ticket booths, concession stands, housing facilities, etc.

Donate to the cause: CDM receives most of its funding through individual contributions such as yours. You can donate online at cdmigrante.org or send a check to Centro de los Derechos del Migrante, P.O. Box 025250 #11540, Miami FL 33102. Note that CDM is a 501(c)(3) organization and your donation may be tax deductable under applicable laws. Volunteer: CDM’s work is largely dependent on volunteers that dedicate their time to the work. CDM is actively looking for volunteers in our Zacatecas and Washington DC offices. We ask for volunteers to dedicate at least 10 weeks of their time in order to learn the work and be assigned a specific project. You can learn more about volunteer opportunities by emailing Tory Gavito at [email protected] or Leticia Zavala at [email protected]. Plan a Cien Cena for next year: Cien Cenas primary purpose is to raise awareness about migrant worker issues and CDM’s effort to bring justice to worker rights. The Cenas are an important part of our fundraising and organizing efforts.
