Registration Instructions Registration Deadline is May 6, 2009

Registering for the Summit is a two part process. 1.

Please contact the South Point Hotel directly to reserve your room(s). You can either call the hotel at (866)791-7626 and identify yourself as being with the Retired Players, or go online at www.southpointcasino.com and use the Group Code NFL09 to make your reservation. As the Summit is scheduled to begin Friday morning, May 29, please try and plan to check into the hotel the afternoon or evening of Thursday, May 28, and plan to check out on Sunday afternoon, May 31. The hotel address is: South Point Hotel Casino & Spa 9777 Las Vegas Blvd. South Las Vegas, NV 89183

The room rate is $55/night plus tax, and the shuttle to and from the airport is free. However, you must make a reservation for the shuttle prior to arrival by calling (866)796-7111. Taxi service between the airport and the hotel is app. $20. There is no fee for the Summit, and all meals will be on your own. By the way, the food in the hotel is great, really. 2. Please go online to either the Fourth & Goal website at http://fourthandgoalunites.com/ or Dave Pear’s Blog at http://davepear.com/blog and click on “Register for the 2009 Summit.” Fill out the brief information form and click on “Submit” so that we can have an accurate head count for name tags, packets, possible food, etc. The Registration Deadline for guaranteeing the Group Room Rate is May 6, 2009. Thank you for your willingness to participate in the important work of improving pension and disability benefits for retired NFL players. Your attendance at this Summit is vital to the timely progress of our common cause, and we have precious little time to waste. See you in Vegas!

Summit Notes: 

Presentations will be broken up into thirty minute segments, with "bio breaks" as necessary. All meals are “on your own.”



Times, topics, and speakers are flexible, and may be subject to change with the exception of the Health & Medical Issues component on Friday afternoon due to speaker's travel schedules.



Attendees should plan to arrive on Thursday afternoon/evening, and fly out on Sunday afternoon. Standard Hotel Checkout Time is 12:00PM, at which time your room key is deactivated. Late Checkout is 2:00PM with prior approval, and you can have your key reactivated if necessary.



Reservations for the hotel’s free shuttle service to and from the airport must be made in advance by calling (866)796-7111. Taxi service to and from the airport is approximately $20 one way.



All NFL and AFL retirees are welcome, and encouraged to bring members of your family and/or support system.
