SUMMARY McJOURNALISM: A FRAMING ANALYSES OF NEWS IN INDONESIAN BROADBLOID NEWSPAPER (MAHFUD ANSHORI .NIP132 304 814.) Recently, the Indonesia newspapers has dramatically change their format, from broadsheet into tabloid. This phenomenon called tabloidization. This study is intended to search the way of seeing for media trend in Indonesia, particulary, to indentify the news packaging and presentation in KOMPAS and JAWA POS, the differences between them and the news quality as creative production process. This kind of research is an qualitative method with criticalconstructionist approach, using framing analyzis adopted from Pan Koschi and Teun Van Dicjk. News analysed trough element of sintaxs, scripts, thyme dan rethoric in order to find five dimensions of McJournlism; efficiecy, calculability, predictability and control. Based on result of data analyses it have been concluded that KOMPAS and JAWA POS has tendecy in four dimension of McJournalism, eventhought have differencies level of qualities. Meanwhile, the dumbing down of writing quality, redudancies dan duplications data information, and uniforming of news are indicate that KOMPAS and JAWA POS has change into new format of media, broadbloid.
