CONTRACTOR SAFETY RULES AND REGULATIONS

The intent of this agreement is to provide sufficient information to allow you, the contractor, to conduct your business here as safely as possible. Any questions or comments pertaining either to the information in this booklet or safety in general, should be directed to Project Manager or any of the management personnel on site. At the last of this booklet page which requires your signature. This document states that you have read and fully understand the guidelines set forth in this booklet. The information in this booklet is derived from some general OSHA regulations and specific safety rules. On a quarterly basis, each contractor and his employee whose performance in safety as well as work shall be awarded in Orientation/Motivational Program ceremony.

SAFETY, HEALTH AND SECURITY RULES AND REGULATIONS 1.

All contract employees performing work for ABENGOA must adhere in detail to the Safety, Health and Security rules. The contractor will remove and replace any contract employee who fails to comply with these rules. All interpretations will be made by the designated representative for ABENGOA.

ABENGOA General Terms and Conditions (copy supplied by Abengoa representative) shall apply to all contractor work.

We require the following and will not tolerate anything less:

General A. The contractor and his employees shall comply with all safety rules and regulations at site. B. A copy of your workers/team complete document (i.e. Id Proof, Aadhar Card, Two Passport size photos, Contact number etc. provided to safety officer prior to you starting work after contract successful contract agreement. C. Your employee/engineer/supervisor must understand that PPE is requirement is mandatory on this jobsite. D. The use of or the possession of alcoholic beverages or nonprescription drugs is not permitted on project site. E. All unusual incidents should be reported immediately to the HSE Officer or any Abengoa representative (accidents, damage to property, etc.) F. A representative from your side must attend all Safety Meetings while your company is on the jobsite (meetings as per client requirements). G. Job work permit system to be follow. Before starting any work at site work permit must be taken and signed. H. Before starting any excavations, the contractor representative must consult with the Abengoa representative for all known underground utilities or other pipe lines or tanks. I. All hazardous openings or excavations must be barricaded at all-time unless the work requires their temporary removal. The area will be lighted one after sunset before darkness (as per requirement). J. While major work is being performed, sign boards must be display at site in a conspicuous manner. K. The contractor shall report any malfunction or potential safety hazard to the Abengoa HSE Officer/representative. L. The contractor shall observe the facility speed limits when moving any type of vehicle. M. As the contractor, you will be held responsible for the actions of your subs and employees while on the job site as well as any damage that may be imposed upon the project or the equipment that your subs or employees may be operating. N. Penalty shall be imposed to contractor/sub-contractor for any damage of equipment or material at site.

Contractor's Access to work site A. Entrance will be designated and marked for contractor's use; and if so, other entrances will not be used unless by special permission. B. Arrangement of work must be made with the Abengoa Representative for access beyond the normal workday, on weekends or holidays. C. The contractor's employees will be permitted access only to those areas necessary for the performance of contractual work. Under no circumstances are the contractor's employees allowed to tour or roam around the facility or to enter areas not necessary for the performance of their work. D. All closed type vans, car trunks, tool boxes and other contractor vehicles and equipment are subject to inspection by a duly authorized Abengoa representative while on site premises.

Housekeeping A. Housekeeping is the contractor's responsibility. B. The job site must be as clean and orderly as possible while the work is

being performed. C. Flammable and combustible wastes must be removed from the site at the end of each working day if the Abengoa representative so requires. Sewers, trenches and waterways are not to be used for Disposal of waste. D. At the end of the work, the job site must be left in an acceptable condition. The Abengoa representative will make a final inspection to determine the adequacy of the final cleanup (as per requirement). 5.

Contractor Employee Conduct A. The contractor is responsible for the conduct of his employees and shall enforce good order and conduct at all times. B. Horseplay is not permitted.

6.

Use of Flames, Welding, Cutting, Burning, Grinding Equipment and other Spark Producing Equipment.

A. A Hot Work permit will be issued for each specific job requiring the use of open flames or spark producing equipment. It is the responsibility of the contractor to inform the Abengoa representative of the need for a Hot Work permit. The permit is good for the time period established by the Abengoa representative. If further work is required after this time period, an additional permit must be issued. The permit must be conspicuously displayed at the job location. This permit is not permission to smoke. 7.

Personal Protective Equipment

A. Safety Helmet, Safety Goggles, Ear plug, Dust Mask, Hand Gloves, Reflective Vest and Safety Shoes etc. is mandatory to use at site. B. It is the responsibility of the contractor to enforce the use of required personal protective equipment by its employees. C. The contractor will supply personal protective equipment to its employees unless instructed otherwise, in writing, by Abengoa. ABG | Doc. No -

D. The Abengoa representative will inform the contractor of any hazardous chemicals that workers may be exposed to while performing work at site. Suggested or required personal protection equipment will be identified at that time. Material Safety Data Sheets will be provided upon request.

E. It is the responsibility of the contractor to enforce the use of Safety Glasses at all times. Contractor will supply his employees with personal protective equipment. F. All Contractor personnel must wear shirts with sleeves that cover the shoulders and pants that cover the entire leg to the ankle. 8.

Accidents and Injuries A. The treatment of injuries sustained by the contractor's employees shall be the responsibility of the contractor. B. All OSHA recordable injuries sustained on work site must be reported, to the Abengoa representative.

In Case of Fire A. The Abengoa representative will inform the contractor of the proper procedures for employees to follow what procedures they should initiate to alert others if they observe a fire. B. If the contractor or one of his employees sees a fire, a fire extinguisher should be used. DO NOT REPLACE extinguishers on the HOOKS. They must be reported as empty to the Abengoa Representative. C. Firefighting tools, extinguishers etc., must not be used for anything except fighting a fire. D. In any serious condition or an emergency we shall contact immediately to nearest fire station after getting true report.

10.

Contractor's Tools and Equipment

A. All equipment must be in first class condition. B. All electrical or spark producing equipment or internal combustion engines must be approved for use in any area. Use of tools not properly rated is strictly prohibited. C. Ladders, ropes, cables etc., shall be inspected by the contractor and replaced if they prove to be defective. D. Wooden ladders are not permitted.

E. Regardless of the type of fuel used, all fuel-driven machines must be shut down for refueling. F. Safety guards or other devices shall not be removed from tools or equipment except for repairs and must be replaced upon completion of repair.

11. Documents to Submit:

1. For Record Purpose:  

List of Permanent employees/workers with contractor name and petty contractor, if any. 02 Photographs (Contractor Engineer/Supervisor/Labour) for Gate Pass and Record.

Head light and Back light Horn Front and Reverse All side Indicators Side Mirror and Back View Mirror Glass Wiper Seat Belt Reflective Tape/Radium/Reflective Triangle. Wheel Stopper. First Aid Kit Fire Extinguisher

Note: Vehicle/Heavy machineries must be in good working condition with all necessary tools & gears. Operator/Driver shall be trained and experienced in operation.
