26th September, 2008 Dear Mr. Kung, I would like to introduce our class policy to you regarding your concerns as to how to keep good class discipline during recess and lunch time. First, we will require all our classmates to take turns to supervise the study room during the two periods. All our classmates will share the responsibility of managing the room. In our policy, there will be two students on duty during recess and lunch time every day. One of our class committee members will also stay in the room and mark on the name list to indicate if those two students come on time to ensure that their duty is observed. Besides, we believe that as there are totally 41 students in our class, each of us may have to be on duty only one or two days each month. Therefore, I believe there is no any negative effect on their studies. Second, we will also post up the regulations on the notice board to remind our classmates of their obligation to maintain a conducive and comfortable atmosphere for studying. Playing, eating and shouting will be strictly forbidden in the study room and anything that may cause disturbance to others is also restricted. Our timetable for October, the list of regulations and the class committee member list are enclosed with this letter. We would be very pleased if you could kindly approve our application.
