SOP - Morning Assembly At 7.20 am, meet me at the general office. Collect the announcements in a file. Stand by at the podium. Rehearsal. After assembly, go back general office and file up the morning announcement.
SOP - Morning Assembly In the file, Command The National Anthem The Pledge The School Song The School Creed (Translate to Mandarin) “Good morning, Brother Anthony, Mr Tay, Mr Tan, teachers and fellow marists, I am Kay Hian, from 3C, the President of the Student Council. This morning announcements.”
SOP – Attire Button up the shirt before putting on the tie. (No removal of tie unless PE) All students leaders’ collar pins on the right. School Badge Name Tag Tie Pin Belt All Black Shoes
SOP - Correspondence All correspondences to other schools and parents will be done via the school. School letterhead and Student Council letterhead
SOP - Events All consent forms, edusave forms and payment must be collected before the event. Edusave - 62600777
Other Matters - Studywiz Create a new student council blog in Studywiz.
Other Matters - Noticeboard Council Notice-board. (Teacher advisors, all councillors’ names and classes) (With photos) Porch Notice-board. (Exco members only) All photos to be taken by professional photographer.
Other Matters – Code of Conduct Strict code of conduct for all councillors - On top of the point system that ties in with events. - All councillors to have a personal file. - Minor offences: warnings leave! Major offences: leave! Junior councillors Chairman/Mentor VP (Internal Discipline) & President
Other Matters – Code of Conduct Nobody is to spoil the image and the reputation of the student council with immediate effect.

Revamp the process of the selection of student councillors. Nominations by teachers/CCA teachers/classmates/themselves. Rally. Level voting. Interview by teachers panel. Shortlist. Endorse by the Principal.

Other Matters – CCA points/Awards CCA points / Awards (Including EAGLES) - Ability - Competency - Attitude Should not be a case whereby all councillors at the end of service will automatically receive a certificate of service or recognition. It has to be based solely on MERIT.

Other Matters Council meetings will be held every Monday after school assembly. Time: 2.30pm – 4.30pm All councillors must have a notebook and a pen with them at all time.
