Establishing shot of the corner shop outside. This makes the episode seem like it’s a normal day.
A freeze frame is used to show the shock on everyone’s faces in the shop. A mid shot will be used in this part.
Close up of the shop keeper looking scared and trying to persuade the abductor to let them all out of the shop
The camera then shots back to Ronda where she is lying on the floor breathing heavily and holding her back. A mid shot will be used and you will be able to see the back of Patel’s head to show the audience he is concerned. On the other side of the shot, you can see the abductor looking slightly worried too.
Then we will use a shot reverse shot to show the difference in feelings and relationships between the shop keeper and the abductor. You will see the calm and smirk look that the abductor has and the worry and panic that the shop keeper has.
The pregnant woman, Ronda begins to scream. This shot will be an extreme close up of her face to show she is terrified and in a lot of pain
The camera will then move down slowly with a medium close up to the floor where Ronda’s water has broken.
