Stephen R. Covey (lahir 24 Oktober 1932 di Salt Lake City, Utah) menulis buku laris, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. Buku-buku lain yang pernah ditulisnya termasuk First Things First, Principle-Centered Leadership, dan The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Families. Pada 2004, Covey menerbitkan, The 8th Habit. Pada 2008, Covey menerbitkan The Leader In Me -- How Schools and Parents Around the World Are Inspiring Greatness, One Child at a Time Covey tinggal bersama istrinya Sandra dan keluarga mereka di Provo, Utah.
