Steel Structures Typical projects: A mobile swimming pool roof, Oranit

The swimming pool's roof is made of 1/8-circle segment of 24 meter spans; each segment is a roof and a front wall. The roof is opened by turning the segment around a pole. The front wall moves around on wheels. The steel structure has been designed in an optimal way so its weight will be as low as possible. The low weight brought to a reduction of the amount of steel, and in addition has made possible to move the segment by man alone, in comparison to similar roofs that needed expensive machinery to move their parts.
