Standing Felt Deer Pattern
Materials for each deer: 2 squares of brown felt small amount of fiberfill stuffing small crochet hook or bamboo skewer Brown thread Small paint brush and white acrylic paint for spots Directions 1. Cut out pattern pieces according to the pattern. 2. Sew the ears to each body.
3. Sew the inner legs to each body.
4. Gently stuff each leg, using a small crochet hook or bamboo skewer to push the fiberfill all the way to the feet. Be careful not to poke through the felt.
5. Beginning with the nose, sew the “top of head” to one side of the body, stopping halfway around.
6. Placing the bodies together, stitch the “top of head” to the other side of the body, beginning at the nose and stopping when you reach the previous stitching.
7. Sew the neck together, stopping at the stitching on the legs. 8. Sew the back together, beginning behind the ears at previous stitching and stopping when you reach the stitching on the rear leg.
9. Stuff the head, tail and tummy through the slit in the belly

Using needle and thread, stitch belly closed.
11. I used acrylic paint and the end of a small paint brush to paint spots on the rear
