Attendee Seating Plan for Local Communications Development Group meeting 2nd October 2008 London Agenda • Introductions • Notes of previous meeting • Update from ERA Supplier Meeting • Process for Evaluation Session • Evaluation Session Lunch • Evaluation Session continued • Comments received against v0.3 of Report • AOB & Final Meeting Jason Brogden (JB) introduced the meeting Introductions Notes from previous meeting accepted Updates from ERA supplier meeting JB noted that the ERA suppliers had had a checkpoint meeting considering local comms -results of that meeting summarised as follows • Reminder that this is ERA project work and output – it is for delivery to the SRSM Steering Group • Reviewed Progress to date • Happy with the technical requirements and criteria • General status of the report • Happy with level of information provided to date • thank you to all for this • This will remain a technical feasibility study • user requirements considered… Regarding User requirements: the group agreed that this is difficult to progress for a Page 2 of 3
SRSM&B Meeting Notes number of reasons – and that this will need to be done will be recognised in the report. The checkpoint review noted that it is apparent that the report is more appropriate as a gap analysis rather than an evaluation that eliminates any options. The check point review concluded that • The group is happy with the technical requirements and criteria • It is accepted that this exercise will not be selecting a solution and that solutions will have to be evaluated/trialled at a later date when they may have developed further • We will concentrate on a gap analysis and risk assessment to requirements in this session • We will look to assess the options and how they meet requirements as they stand at the moment in terms of • Green meeting the requirement, Amber some shortfalls, Red serious shortfalls and Blue insufficient information to assess. • Additional comments to describe shortfalls or achievement of criteria • This should help the providers in identifying any shortfalls that need to be made up And plan from here: • Today’s session • Update document • Review with Supplier group • Publish to wider stakeholder group • 29th October final review meeting • Update and publish to SRSM Steering Group • Agree any appropriate next steps under project governance The Report and Scoring SH noted that thanks for the submissions on evaluation criteria that had been received. These submissions were used as a starting point for the assessment session. It was agreed that during the assessment session it would be important to capture parameters of field (or laboratory trials) The remainder of the session reviewed the candidate solutions against the criteria and are captured in an updated version of the report. Actions Project to create update draft report for review by ERA suppliers issue updated version of the report Next Meetings 29th October
