SRF: An Overview • Founded by 4- Full Time MBA students in July,2003 • A Voluntary Association • ‘Student driven and managed’ body • The most Active & Visible body at NMIMS • Only Cell to involve all Schools under The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely NMIMS no good.

SIFE –HSBC Financial Literacy Programme • Volunteers working with Self Help Groups(SHGs) in Ganeshpuri, Thane • Improve financial literacy and personal financial management skills • Committed to reach 100 villages till August 2009

KHERWADI SOCIAL WELFARE ASSOCIATION YOUTH CAPACITY BUILDING PROJECT
Partnership with KSWA • Assist Kherwadi Social Welfare Association with various activities • Outreach consultation in areas of academics, resource generation, community relations, operations, vocational education by SRF volunteers
SADBHAVNA 2007-08
Sadbhavna 2007-08 • Theme for 2007-08 was ‘Environment’ • Activities – Each One Plant One – Cleanup & Awareness Drive – Inter B-School Socio-Economic B-Plan – Environment Quiz – Sadbhavna Green Day – Inter-NGO Competition – T-Shirt Painting Contest – Workshops – Crochet, Incense Stick Making
• Raised over Rs. 10,000 for sponsoring a child’s education
BLOOD DONATION DRIVE
Blood Donation Drive • Held annually. Last year, organized on 7th August, 2007 • 323 students, staff and others registered • 272 units of blood collected • Blood banks involved were Jaslok Hospital, Bombay Hospital, JJ Hospital
SIFE REGIONAL COMPETITION
SIFE Regional Competition • SRF, NMIMS stood runners up in the regional competition held in Mumbai • Competed against 13 teams including NITIE, SIBM, Welingkar, KJ Somaiya
