Sr Systems Analyst

Sr. Systems Analyst $70k - $80k (open) Contract to hire or Perm Vernon Hills, IL As a Sr. Systems Analyst you will interact with all levels of the company. Responsibilities include development and documentation of business requirements, technical specifications, test plans, implementation plans and training materials system life cycle methodology. Candidate will also be required to code and test RPG IV and CL programs and perform data and business process analysis to troubleshoot, improve processes and develop best business practices. Candidate will interact extensively with the user community as well as the software vendor in requirements gathering, system testing and training roles. Requirements:             

3-5 years program development experience 2+ years process analysis experience 2+ years experience in developing formal technology-related documents 1 year of leadership experience in a team development environment Bachelors degree Strong Communication skills (written and verbal) Heavy user interaction Strong experience with AS/400, RPG IV, DDS and related tools a must Distribution and Supply Chain experience a must Warehouse management system exposure a must - IBS, Red Prairie, Manhattan Associates or similar experience Radio Frequency knowledge a major plus. Prefer work experience with Symbol devices, Avalanche and Telenet technologies Experience with documented system methodologies and system implementation experience a major plus Exposure to working with 3rd party software and vendors a plus.
