Spiritual Entities

“SPIRITUAL ENTITIES” The Bible contains many examples of spiritual entities called “Devils” as they are being cast out of those that are possessed. Read St. Matthew 15:22-28, St. Matthew 10:1, St. Mark 5:15 and St. Mark 16:17. The word “Devil” was translated from the word meaning; a supernatural being or entity of a bad nature. There are many devils. Christians mostly refer to the entity called “Satan” or “Beelzebub” because he is the Prince devil of all of the other evil entities. One must have an understanding of the fallen evil entities in order to know how to deal with them. Everything evil that is done is not necessarily an evil performed by Satan. Most evils performed in the spiritual realm are performed by lower ranked devils under the orders of the prince devil called “Satan”. Satan is referred to as the “Angelic King of Tyre” in the book of Ezekial. He was created by the Almighty God as an Archangel. An Archangel was one of the highest orders of God’s creations. “Son of man (Ezekial) take up a lamentation upon the king of tyrus, and say unto him, thus saith the Lord God: thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God: every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, the topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, …………………..and gold. The workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth: and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.” Ezekial 28:12-14. The term “anointed cherub” had to do with the very holiness of God. Satan was referred to by God as having been the anointed cherub that covereth. Two golden winged cherubims formed a part of the mercy seat on the covering of the Holy Ark of the covenant, which was the symbol of Israel’s holiest devotion of Jehovah God. This makes Satan very familiar with worship and how to camouflage true worship through the use of vain worship. The Almighty God cast Satan from his presence to dwell in outer darkness because of Satan’s pride, greed and lust. Satan committed mutiny in the kingdom of God. He and his followers were cast from God’s presence. He fell from his high position God had given him to end up in the Garden of Eden where the Almighty was to create the first man (Adam). Even in his fallen state, Satan remains one of the keenest personalities and intelligent entities created by the Almighty. This is why in Jude 9th verse Michael one of the remaining archangels in heaven did not argue with Satan. “Yet Michael the archangel when contending with the devil, he disputed about the body of Moses durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, the Lord rebuke thee”. Jude 1:3. “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own

habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day”. Jude 1:6. There are three main elements that make up man’s personality. They are: 1. Knowledge 2. Will 3. Emotions Devils also possess these three elements. 1. Knowledge—“And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he (the spirit) cried out, saying, let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? Art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.” St. Mark 1:23-24. The unclean spirit possessed the knowledge of who Jesus was. 2. Will-----“When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man , he walketh through dry places , seeking rest and findeth none. Then he saith I will return into my house from whence I came out.” Matthew 12:43-44. The unclean spirit operated in his “will” to go back to the house he came from. 3. Emotions----“Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well; the devils also believe and tremble.” St. James 2:19. James said not only do the devils believe but they also tremble. This makes it easy for devils to entwine themselves with a man’s soul or spirit because they possess the same abilities that demonstrates personalities as man does. A Christian can think that what he or she does is not wrong because that is their personality, not realizing that they have taken on the person of a devil. Greed, lust and envy are all personalities of devils. Because Satan possessed these personalities and then acted upon them is why he was cast out of the Almighty’s presence. There was a movie called “The Exorcist”. This movie is a true movie. In this movie this child became demon possessed through no fault of her own. Satan commanded his devils to force themselves on her and take over her body. There was an artifact that had been brought from Africa to the home. This artifact that had been dug up contained the evil forces of Satan. It was released into the home and thereby possessed the child. There are Satanic replicas commanded in ancient times by God to be sealed and buried so the powers cannot be released. Man must be very careful in his studies to make sure that he is not opening evil powers that are unknown to him. As discussed in the prior lesson called “The Brain” man has gates and portals that spirits can enter through. One must be very careful of the use of “Ouija “ boards. This is a device consisting of a planchette and a board bearing the alphabet and various other symbols, used in spiritualistic séances, supposedly to convey and record messages from the spirits. College students are prone to the use of these boards for fun. One must fully realize that evil spirits and deities resent mortal man. They do not give information to a mortal without there being an eventual consequence. People do not understand that evil

spirits seek houses to dwell in. They consider man’s body as a house for them. Doors to your body house can be opened by inviting evil powers in without realizing what you are doing. Seeking spiritual information by any other means other than praying to the Almighty God can open doors for demon possession as well as demon oppression. Studying books on demonic powers can be dangerous if one has not covered himself in prayer prior to opening his eye gate to receive demonic information. Doors for the “Spirit of Oppression” sometimes is opened through the sins of the fathers which have an evil force traveling through the seed. Whenever the seed of certain of our forefathers enter the womb the evil entity enters the seed before it is born. For example; cancer, high blood pressure and etc. doctors say are hereditary. The spiritual word “Oppression” means ; when something exercises dominion against something else. Doors for “Demon Possession” can be opened knowingly and sometimes unknowingly. There are those that willingly sell their souls to evil entities due to the promise of power. There are those that unknowingly allow themselves to be possessed through acts involving summoning evil entities through ignorance. “I pray to God that your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless”. 1Thessalonians 5:23. In demon possession, the evil entity controls that man’s spirit, soul and body. In demon oppression, an evil entity exercises dominion against a persons body and sometimes both spirit and body. The Spirit is the life of the body. The Soul is man’s will and intellect. The Body is the house for the spirit and soul. Acts 10:38 talks of the healing by Jesus of those that were oppressed by the devil. Usually, people that are oppressed need a healing of an illness in the body. Matthew 4:24 gives an example of demon possession. This is usually involving a casting out of evil entities from a man’s soul and spirit. There is a very distinct difference. There are those that have sold their soul, spirit and body to be used by Satan. Very rarely are those ones able to be restored back to Christ. On these rare occasions they are those that were not in full knowledge of the consequences of what they were doing. There will be additional discussion on this subject when I am back in your area.
