- 1850 First settlement by Europeans in the 16th century Colonized by Britons in 1815 Boers forced to emigrate after conflicts with Britons Nearly incapable for Boers to get footing
1850 – 1950 Gold and diamonds is found → increased immigration In 1899 Britons invaded Natal → the Boer war started Britons informed hostile against Boers After the Boar war (1899-1902) the Britons became dominant
