SSA (Treble Voice) Girls Choir Grades 3-7 Thursdays 3:45-4:15 BA Music Room #505 Instructor: Lu Tunnell, M.Ed. Fall Semester: September 29-December 15 Spring Semester: January 5-June 1, 2009 One academic year of music study consists of 32 classes and two school performances. Instruction includes Traditional and Show Choir singing styles. Students will study sight singing, ear training, coordinated movement, echo singing, partner singing, and part singing in preparation for singing in concerts, contests and festivals. Other Performances May Include: SCISA Music Festival (USC Columbia) SCMEA Elementary State Honors Choir SCMEA Middle School SSA Choral Clinic SCMEA Middle School Choral Festival SCMEA All-State Chorus Auditions SCMEA Choral Solo & Ensemble Festival Community Service Singing Local & Regional Community Concerts Tuition: $270/semester Materials: $30 One year of tuition averages about $15 per session.
