Check the area of your repair for unsoldered or poorly-soldered connections. Check the entire board surface for solder splashes and bridges. Check the interboard wiring to ensure that no wires are "pinched" or contact high-wattage resistors. Look for unauthorized replacement parts, particularly transistors, that were installed during a previous repair. Point them out to the customer and recommend their replacement.

Flexible Circuit Board Repairing • Keep the temperature of the soldering iron around 270˚C during repairing. • Do not touch the soldering iron on the same conductor of the circuit board (within 3 times). • Be careful not to apply force on the conductor when soldering or unsoldering.

SLV-SE100/SE200/SE250/SE300/SE400/SE450/SX100/SX250 SECTION 6 ADJUSTMENTS 2-1-3. Set-up of Adjustment In this adjustment, PAL pattern generator is connected with LINE2 input terminal. When check to tuner, connected AERIAL terminal. Check that the synchronizing signal of the Y signal has an amplitude of approximately 0.7 V and that the burst signal has an amplitude of approximately 0.3 V and its waveform is flat. And check that the level ratio of burst signal to “red” signal is 0.30 : 0.66. The video signal (color bar) used for electrical aligning this unit is shown in Fig. 6-2-2.

[Confirmation Method] 1) Supply a signal of 400 Hz, –26.3 dBs to J481 AUDIO IN. 2) Connect the audio level meter to CN500 Pin 3. 3) Adjust the attenuator so that the audio level meter will indicate –26.3 dBs. 4) Make recording in the SP mode. 5) Set an audio line input signal to 7 kHz and make recording. 6) Playback a recorded portion, and measure output levels at 400 Hz and 7 kHz. 7) Confirm that the 7 kHz playback output level within a range of the 400 Hz playback output level 0 dB to ± 3 dB.
