Osteitis Condensans Illi
Typically, patient is female multiparous female with or without local sacroiliac joint pain. Diagnosis is radiographic, with characteristic triangular distribution of juxta-articular sclerosis involving the sacroiliac joints, more prominently on the iliac side of the joint. Minimal, if any, joint narrowing and lack of erosive change helps rule out inflammatory changes related to seronegative spondyloarthroapathies. Bilateral involvement is typical. Spontaneous regression of this sclerotic reaction usually occurs slowly and the finding is unusual in the elderly
