Silence is a virtue I believe silence is a virtue depending on the situation at hand, for instance a situation that requires deep analysis before a judgement is given may require silence, within the confines of analysis period. Indeed silence is virtue because, it’s vital to listen to what other will be saying before we elude a thing. Another situation that requires silence is a circumstance where people are in argument, it’s best to be silent in such a scenario. The importance of being quiet is that a person can make wise options; they can make analysis before a judgement; silence helps for introspection of oneself; being silent can also can be a mode of communication; being quiet is a sign of respect. On the other hand silence can be bad in that if misinterpreted might give a wrong impression, and also this depends on the circumstance at hand. Silence can be interpreted as a form of rebellion or disagreement to what’s being said. Silence has the possibility of hindering communication, in that the person who might be silent might be without important information.
