Act 1 Scene 1 (Page 11-3) The King talks about wishing Hotspur was his son instead of Hal. Scene 2 (Page 25) Hal has his aside where he talks about eventually abandoning Falstaff & his crew. Act 2 Scene 3 (Page 65-7) Hotspur reads the letter that warns him to abandon the rebellion and he grows infuriated. Scene 4 (Page 101) Falstaff compares banishing him to banishing the whole world. Act 3 Scene 1 (Page 123) Worcester tells Hotspur to calm down, mentioning that noblemen should control their rage. Scene 2 (The whole scene Is kind of important, but the passage below is especially important) (Page 137-9) Hal powerfully promises his father that he will reform, turning around the conversation even after Henry IV has just completely insulted him. Act 4 Scene 1
(Page 163) Hotspur, after learning that Northumberland wussed out of the fight, says “no big deal” and thinks he can earn greater glory by winning the rebellion. Scene 2 (Page 171) The exchange between Falstaff and Hal – Hal expresses some disappointment at what Falstaff has done. Scene 3 (Page 177-9) Hotspur rants about what Henry IV has done (and gets kind of emotional). Act 5 Scene 1 (Page 187-9) The King compares Worcester to a star that has fallen out of orbit and become a meteor. Scene 2 (195) Falstaff voices his opinion as to what honor really is. Scene 4 (215-7) Hal kills Hotspur and makes some final remarks about him.
