Duties and Responsibilities: • Renders Professional nursing care to patients with in the assigned unit in a holistic approach. Such nursing care in an integral part of the total patient care plan as directed by the medical staff according to the policies and procedures of the Hospital and in keeping with the generally accepted principles for the Practice of Professional Nursing. •

Leads a shift team of registered Nurses in the provision of optimal quality nursing care with in available resources, working internal rotation of shifts. Maintain continuity of care by hand over & take over reports, updating reports with resident on calls, providing proper allocation to the unit staff and over all keeping accountability and advocacy of patient's interests and upholding the professional standard at all times.

• Make the necessary requisitions for replenishment of consumable stock items, instrument repairs etc. • Provides orientation guidance and directions & training to the new staff. Works as a Nursing education coordinator in ccu and cardiac ward units •

Works as an ACLS course instructor and ECG instructor
