Key Achievements : Quality & Merchandising as a field of management science is not taught at all in schools universally or business schools, until 1990s --------and then only in some pioneering institutions .Why was this? Like other fields, Quality & Merchandising Management has its gurus, as well as a foundation of theory cuts across the traditional divisions within educational institutions; education was slow to recognize this existence.
