IV. Market Analysis A.SWOT Strengths- Laguna is notable for being the birthplace of José Rizal, the country's national hero. Opportunities- Laguna is endowed with abundant natural resources. Its forests are filled with bamboo, rattan, and soft hardwood. Its wide fields and vast forests are ideal for growing rice, coconuts, vegetables, tropical fruits, orchids, and other ornamental flowers and exotic plants. The province is also rich in mineral resources such as clay, jasper and basalt glass. Laguna has established its name to the market it is known for its hot springs resort and delicacies.
Threats: There are provinces that also offer hot springs and resorts with a wide variety of choices that are even more modernized. Cause of the slow development of the country, the tendency is that competitors are taking advantage and leaving the province behind.
