Pointillism Work like a master series
The Artist George Seurat was born in Paris and lived at 100 Boulevard Magenta with his parents. He also lived there with his sister Marie - Berthe and brother Emile. He attended the local school and developed at an early age a love for painting and drawing.
Technique
Seurat spent his life studing colour theories which later became known as Optical Mixing. This is when colour dots are placed together and then if viewed at a distance the eye mixes them to form new colours. This unique approach gives Seurat's work its original style.
