Clean Up Crofton Park We say the council should take a lead from residents of Honor Oak Park and Stanstead Road who have planted a community garden and cleared up the area themselves.

Labour have left houses abandoned and land gone to waste all round our area.

Tam and the team are demanding that the council cleans up derelict houses and grot spots around our area. These problems, and our progress in solving them, from an abandoned house on Manwood road to dumped rubbish in Honor Oak Park, can be found on a map at: http://bit.ly/ 3MVeEE

Trains Petition: Big Response Hundreds of local residents have joined the local Lib Dem campaign to save the Victoria – Bellingham train service via Crofton Park. Transport for London have agreed to meet our team to discuss the campaign in the next few days. Tam Langley says ‘Thank you to all the local residents who have signed up to save this crucial service. We can’t let up though, please get your friends and neighbours to sign too at http://bit.ly/cptrains

Labour admit they don’t stand for the underdog Lewisham Labour’s candidate for Telegraph Hill ward has made an outspoken attack on his own party. Writing on his blog, he said, “The Labour Party no longer represents the voice of the weak, the powerless and the poor in the minds of voters ... I am very perplexed by the people we have leading the Labour Party at the moment. They seem to be sailing us into iceberg, to election defeat, to the end of a Labour government. •Lewisham Deptford Labour councillor Edward Mark has still not responded to criticism from his constituents after taking £30k in allowances for attending just 3 committee meetings.
