Secret no. 3: More Fruit to Much Fruit (The Abiding Principles)
Principle 1: Abiding in Christ in an ongoing relationship is the secret to bearing much fruit. • Much fruit cannot be achieved by working harder or longer. • Much fruit requires less work for Christ and more time with Christ. Principle 2: Abiding in Christ is directly related to your attitude toward Christ. Principle 3: Abiding in Christ enables you to experience Christ’s greatest promises. Love is the measuring rod of our Christian growth: [Philippians 1] 9And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, 10so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, 11filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God. [Ephesians 3] 17so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
