Second Semester Goals

I believe that one thing I can improve on is my ability to keep my department on task at all times. In some cases, when one or two of my employees don’t think they have work to do, they will play games on their Chromebooks. I struggle with finding the words to say in order to get them to stop and be on task for Tailored Tronics, but that is something that I have been working on. In semester two, I hope to be more vocal about what needs to be done. Another weakness I have is keeping everybody in the company informed about what is going on in my department. Occasionally, I will simply forget to let everyone know that the current task in Accounting has been completed. For example, for the first few months of operation, I never communicated the paychecks had been distributed on the portal and, therefore, Mrs. Jauch did not know that we were forgetting to create the check stubs. Throughout second semester, I will be sure to get the check stubs done so everyone is notified of how much they were paid in the past pay period.
