Itinerary in details DAY 01; 3RD AUG: ARRIVAL HA NOI - HALF DAY CITY TOUR Arrive at Hanoi international airport. VN0791 Arrival at 15.55. Transfer to Hotel. Enjoy a kind of traditional Vietnamese stage-art. Overnight in Ha Noi. DAY 02; 4TH AUG: HA NOI -PERFUME PAGODA- NIGHT TRAIN TO SAPA (B,L) Pick up at your hotel in Ha Noi at 8.00 am. The Perfume Pagoda is one of the highlights of the Hanoi area and one of the most important religious sites in Buddhist Vietnam. Every spring, after the Vietnamese New Year, thousands of Vietnamese pilgrims come here to pray for all the health and prosperity they need to get them through the year. The pagoda itself is built into limestone cliffs and can only be reached by boat or on foot as there are no roads into this area. You will have the chance to glide along scenic waterways and walk up steep mountain paths visiting the pagodas and temples that were built in this area over the centuries. Departing Hanoi at 07.30 we have a two hour drive through the picturesque countryside and back roads to the village of Duc for some refreshments before boarding our boats for a 1.5 hour ride along the scenic Yen river. After this we will walk to the Thien Tru Pagoda (Heavens Kitchen) and the Perfume Cave and Pagoda - an hours walk in total. On our way back we visit Giai Oan and Tuyet Son Pagodas. Lunch will be at one of the little food stalls near Thien Tru Pagoda. After lunch the boat will take us back to our car for the drive back to Hanoi. Tonight we board the night train to Sapa. Overnight on train with soft bed sleeper. DAY 03; 5TH AUG: SAPA TRIBAL VILLAGE (B,L) Arrive Laocai station around 6am there will be a transfer to Sapa, situated at an altitude of 1,600 meters and 33 km from Lao Cai. It's a beautiful, scenic drive as we wind our way towards Sapa. Today we will have pleasant trek into the scenic rice field and mountains of Sapa , there will be ample opportunity to meet with our friendly people. We then embark on a lovely hikes through the verdant rice terraces to the hill tribe villages of Cat Cat and Sinchai village, home to the H'mong hill tribes minority peoples. As we walk to the villages nestled in the valley below Sapa, we will meet some of the local minority people on their way to and from Sapa. Here we have the opportunity to share cultural experiences with the families that live in the area. Overnight at hotel in Sapa DAY 04; 6TH AUG: SAPA TRIBAL VILLAGE- NIGHT TRAIN TO HA NOI (B,L) Following breakfast we embark on our five-hour nice trek that will take us along buffalo paths and trails and through several hill tribe villages of Lao Chai and Tavan, home to H'mong, and Dzay minority people. This is an absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people you will meet. Once on the valley floor you can really appreciate the wonderful scenery that surrounds you. Stopping for a picnic lunch on the way, we’ll then take a visit to their traditional house in Tavan. The people here, they have become very adept at rice cultivation and, in marked contrast to the H’mong, they have a higher living standard as a result. Return to Sapa by jeep. 06 pm transfer to Laocai station for the night train back to Hanoi. Overnight on train with soft bed sleeper. DAY 05; 7TH AUG: HA NOI- LUANG PRABANG(B) Arrival Ha Noi at early morning. We will have breakfast in Cinamon Hotel. 08.00 - Pick up at hotel and visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex ( visit outside only) which includes his Mausoleum and former residences, as well as the Presidential Palace. One Pillar Pagoda. Continue onto Vietnams first University, The Temple Of Literature, built in 1070. Afternoon, we visit Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake. One hour cyclo tour through the Old Quarter. Transfer to airport for your flight to Luang Prabang: QV323 18.25-19.25 Greetings in Luang Prabang. Transfer to your hotel in Luang Prabang.

We explore Street Night Market, where you can find the lovely collection and handmade textile by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang. DAY 06; 8TH AUG: LUANG PRABANG (B,L) Early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning rituals of saffronclad monks collecting offerings of Alms (ubiquitous sticky rice) from the faithful residents. This tradition is very unique in Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the procession. We will have time to visit Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai; We are heading out the town to the most angel water fall of Khouangsi, en route stop at Phosi market, where you will see such diverse offerings as dried buffalo skin, local tea and saltpeter among the chickens, vegetables and hill-tribe weavings. Laos is also known for its traditional crafts, from there, we keep our way to Khouangsi waterfall, on the way, we drop off and greeting to local Khmu villages at Ban Xom and Ban Thapene, till the time that you may wish to refresh, we drive further to a largest waterfall of Khouangsi, where you can splash around in the pools or walk along the forest paths in the upper part of this fall. After lunch, we return to Luang Prabang, en route visit Hmong village of Ban Namai and a lowland Lao village of Ban Ou, we then continue to Luang Prabang with a stop over at a weaving village of Ban Phanom, where you can find the silk warm and textile local handmade. Arriving Luang Prabang by late afternoon. Overnight in Luang Prabang. DAY 07; 9TH AUG: LUANG PRABANG - Free leisure time (B) At leisure to visit Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang. DAY 08; 10TH AUG: LUANG PRABANG- SEAMREAP -ANGKOR WAT (B) Transfer to airport for your flight to Siemreap: QV869 10.35-12.00. Arrival Seamreap, In the morning, visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat’s five towers symbolize Meru’s five peaks - the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat, the ocean beyond. Sunset on Angkor Wat. Overnight in Seamreap. DAY 09; 11TH AUG: SEAMREAP- SAI GON (B) We will visit Angkor Thom. This will include the South Gate, Bayon, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. From here you will then make your way to visit Ta Prohm.
