SCIENCE Why do we need to reproduce? To ensure the survival of species.

MALE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM 1. Testes -

They produce sperm cells.

They also produce the “hormone testerones”.

It is also called testicles or gonads.

2. Vas Deferens -

It transports the mature sperm cell to the urethra.

3. Epididymis -

It is where the sperm cells are stored.

4. Prostate Gland -

Produces a fluid called semen.

5. Urethra -

It is a tube that carries urine and semen out of the body.

FEMALE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM 1. Vagina -

Also called birth canal where the baby passes the uterus.

It is also where menstruation flows out.

2. Ovaries

Produces egg cells and estrogen.

3. Fallopian Tubes -

Where mature egg cell travels from the ovaries to the uterus.

4. Uterus -

Also called womb.

Strongest muscle in the female body.

Where the unborn baby develops during pregnancy .

5. Cervix -

Opening that leads to the womb .
