Positive Things Happening at Thayne Elementary: 1. Beautiful new building -light and open, spaciousness -security (doors locked, cameras, etc.) -bus loading separate from parking lot -sound system -tiles of students’ artwork -automatic lights -gym and lunchroom separate -better computer access

-room for RM groups -better parking -bigger mailboxes -workrooms and teacher lounge -playground is easier to monitor 2. Caring Staff who work together toward the same goals 3. Great kids who are excited to be here in the new building 4. Dedicated PTO and supportive community 5. Positive atmosphere 6. User friendly library 7. Renewed sense of school pride 8. School Sing 9. Activboards have been purchased for all classrooms 10. Size of the new school helps to contribute to automatic weight loss – great exercise program! 
