SCHOOL PROJECT Project Name: Music Challenge School Name and Class: Escuela Naciones Unidas, 8º C Date: from November 1st, 2009

to November 31st, 2009

Brief Description: The whole class in divided into 4 groups in which each one has a monitor to guide them in order to achieve the objectives. Each group has to choose a song of their free preferences but these songs have to be related with the unit and of course these have to be related with English language at least 20 words. Objective(s): • Achieve the process of learning through the music that they enjoy. • Make themselves feel secure in order to loose their willing to participate • Work in groups providing a meaningful context by discussing or dialogue times between them related to the task. • Encourage students to learn words for the things they want to know about. • Create a learning environment where the students feel comfortable about making mistakes and are therefore willing to venture their own interpretations. • Encourage students to create a respectful environment in the classroom. • Improve their English vocabulary.
