Scholarship Program The Office of Adult Student Affairs is pleased to announce their Scholarship Program for the 09-10 academic year. This program is designed to assist the growing number of adult learners who are returning to school. One undergraduate and two graduate/professional students will be chosen from the applicants and awarded a $3,600 scholarship - $1,200 each quarter (fall, winter and spring). Winners of the scholarship are only eligible to apply for one year and cannot reapply for the scholarship. Current financial aid packages may be adjusted when the scholarships are applied.

Criteria To be eligible for the scholarship program, you must meet the following criteria: ➢ Active member of Adult Student Association (ASA). ➢ Financial need determined by the results of your FAFSA ➢ Continuing DePaul student who is currently enrolled at least part-time as a graduate (4 credit hours), professional (9 hours) or undergraduate (8 hours) adult student (24 years of age & older) - birth date prior to August 1, 1985. ➢ Must have cumulative 3.5 GPA to be considered and maintain cumulative3.5 GPA at the end of each term (failure to maintain academic progress will result in default of student scholarship) ➢ Scholarship funds may be removed after posting of prior term grades if they fall below the cumulative 3.5 GPA. ➢ Short essay (details for essay attached) ➢ Completed application must be submitted by the application deadline – November 17, 2009 to: Bernadine Thomas Assistant Director Office of Adult Student Affairs 1 E.
