Scene 2- 1

• Type of shot: Mid-shot, eye line match • Setting: Living room of house • Interior • Duration 3 seconds • Transition: Cut to over shoulder shot The scene involves a couple arguing and cuts between them using shot-reverse-shot.

Scene 2-2 • Type of shot: over shoulder (180 degree rule) • Interior • Duration: 5 seconds • Transition: Cut to over the shoulder shot

Scene 2-3 • Type of shot: over shoulder (180 degree rule) • Interior • Duration: 5 seconds • Transition: Cut to next shot

Scene 3 • Type of shot: Mid shot • Duration: 5 seconds • Interior • Transition: cut to next shot Girl storms out of the house and camera pans to follow her as she leaves.

Scene 4 • Type of shot: wide shot • Interior • Setting: hospital staff room • Duration: 10 seconds • Transition: cut Camera pans scene and focuses on specific people when they speak

The scene shows nurses from the asylum discussing the breakout. Camera will cut to close-ups of specific individual talking.

Scene 5 • Type of shot: long shot of room to close up of papers on table • Setting: hospital staff room • Interior • Duration: 5 seconds • Transition: cut to next shot

The shot will the whole room with the papers on the table. The camera will then zoom in to show ‘danger’ and information on the patient that has escaped.

Scene 6 • Type of shot: low angle shot • Exterior • Duration: 3 seconds • Transition: cut to next shot This scene will show the antagonist running away from the asylum. It will not show his face or anything that could reveal his identity.

Scene 7 • Type of shot: point of view • Setting: Park • Exterior • Duration 5 seconds • Transition: pans down to low angle shot of next scene Camera pans from side to side to look as though the antagonist is pacing up and down

This scene shows the girl who stormed out of the house sitting by herself on a swing crying. The shot is from the antagonists point of view.

Scene 8 • Type of shot: low angle • Exterior • Duration: 3 seconds • Transition: pan upwards to next scene

Again, the scene cuts to the antagonist running but then stopping suddenly.

Scene 9 • Type of shot: over shoulder • Setting: Park • Exterior • Duration: 3 seconds • Transition: fade to next scene

The shot pans upwards and we see the antagonist watching the girl.

Scene 10 • Type of shot: over shoulder • Setting: Park • Exterior • Duration: 2 seconds • Transition: Cut to montage as antagonist places hand on shoulder

The antagonist moves forwards and places his hand on the girl’s shoulder.

Scene 11

•Type of shot: montage of all previous scenes in quick succession

•Duration: 1 second per shot. Approx. 10 seconds in all •Transition: Fade As the antagonist’s hand touches the girl’s shoulder, a montage of all previous scenes begins.

Scene 12 • Type of shot: long shot • Setting: Park • Exterior • Duration 3 seconds • Transition: titles fade in over swing. Scene fades to institution logo.

The scene cuts back to the park with the now empty swing swinging eerily backwards and forwards. Tiles appear over shot.
