Safe Water and Health
Foundation SaWaH • Originated from DSM Water4life project and Foundation • Focus on Indonesia • Water, Sanitation and Health • Founded January 2007 • Supported by Rotary, Oxfam Novib
We support local NGO’s in Indonesia to setup a small sustainable local business for production, distribution and sale of household water filters, based on ceramic filter technology. By doing so we create a sustainable local infrastructure that provides access to safe drinking water. This program is supported by another program in which we help local communities to build rain water harvesting installations. This provides them with access to water.
