Online Flight Reservation System
Online Flight Reservation System is an web application through which passenger can book the ticket. User can view the seat arrangement in Graphical User Interface before booking tickets. Since seat arrangement is put up in Graphical User Interface commuter can select the seats according to his like. User is able to know about the number of tickets are booked already and number of tickets available through the effective Graphical User Interface. The user has to make payment through his credit card with appropriate balance in his account. To book the ticket, the commuter has to register himself by filling up the details. Once the user had registered himself he must login to the system to book the ticket. After login the user will be redirected to booking page where the user has to select the place he will travel and type of airlines he prefer to travel. According to the type of airlines and place, the system will provide information regarding flight and venue which are available on the date specified by the Commuter. User can view the reservation details after booking the ticket. The System will provide notice related to flight to the passengers. In Online Flight Reservation System the admin can view the reservation done by the passengers and can add notice that is related to flight. Features User Registration: - In this module user must register himself by filling up his personal details. User Login:-User has to login using his user-id and password which he had specified during registration. After login user will be redirected to booking module. Admin Login: - Admin has particular user-id and password through which he can login. Book Flight:-User can Book Flight ticket by specifying type of airlines he want to travel and he must specify the place and date when the user is going travel. The seating arrangement will be displayed in effective Graphical User Interface. View Notice: - System will provide the user with notice related to flights.
View Booking: - User can view the details about the reservation. View Transaction: - Admin can view reservation done by the passengers. Add Notice: - Admin can add notice related to flight. Software Requirements: Windows 7 and above Microsoft SQL server Visual Studio Hardware Components: Processor – i3 Hard Disk – 5 GB Advantages User gets notice regarding flight which will help him during booking. User can select the type of airlines he wants to travel. User is able to know about the seating arrangements in User Interface. Application This web application can be used by many commuters who want to travel through flight. This web application can be used by the agents to explore their business.
