Mathematics Tutor - EduKtors Tuition Agency
Jan 2009 –
The tuition agency has given me the opportunity to develop my teaching skills on a one - to one level. Tutoring has also been a good way to review content and develop resources. Like running any business the need for good organisation skills has been of paramount importance. Food and Beverage Attendant - Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club
May 2008 – Nov 2009
At Sanctuary Cove I have worked within three different departments, each allowing me to work closely with members. This has allowed my service skills to be fine tuned adhering to strict policies and procedures with respect to other staff and member service. Roles include waiting within three restaurants and delivering a mobile drinks service. Tennis Coach/ Camp Counselor – Brant Lake Camp – New York, USA
June 2005 – Aug 2005 June 2007 – Aug 2007
At the camp, my main role was to teach tennis to the 12-16 age groups. I also supervised children at waterfront, eating times and evening activities. I was also trusted as one of the main organisers for inter-camp tennis competitions and social events. My biggest achievement was organising a rated state wide tennis tournament which lasted 3 days. The tournament required very careful planning and communication. I was personally commended by the director for the success of the tournament and my role in facilitating its success. Tennis Coach – Great Baddow Lawn Tennis Club – Essex, UK
June 2002 – Aug 2004
At my local tennis club I assisted the head coach with teaching tennis to the 6-10 year old age groups. The club also had summer schools which I spent a lot of time both teaching and organising mini-tournaments.
