Objective: Students will explore a range of subject matter while demonstrating photographic Principles of Composition. Students will use proper camera techniques and darkroom procedures to expose a roll of film and make 3 final 5” X 7” prints that represent the best of their roll.
You must include the negatives, a contact sheet with a numbered list of which principles of composition go with which negative (use the negative printed on the film), and 3 prints with test strips. Presentation: Edges have even border or cut neatly and are square. Photo has no scratches, stains, or blemishes.
Design: Photograph shows principles of composition with good contrast, and appropriate subject matter
Studio Skills: Photograph is exposed, focused, developed, and printed properly, using correct darkroom procedures.
