The Big Brothers, Big Sisters mission is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one mentoring relationships. To promote the use of biodiesel made from waste vegetable oil on the UIUC campus and around Illinois. We are in the process of building a reactor capable of producing ~400 gal/week of biodiesel for use by the campus diesel fleet. To plan, organize, and create the Black Student Summit- a two day conference to be held at the beginning of Spring semester next year on our school's campus. To organize and run a free one week overnight summer camp that serves children coping with their parents' cancer in the Champaign-Urbana area. This is a nonprofit, student run organization.

To provide penpal relationships between University of Illinois students and those impacted by cancer.

Direct Health Projects International

To provide basic health relief to rural, poverty stricken areas in Ecuador, one family at a time. Our group works closely with leaders and well-established organizations of the communities we are targeting to create a wellcoordinated relief effort based on basic medical aid and health education.

To promote environmental awareness throughout campus. Project Orange's objective is to achieve affordable shirt prices for student organizations at the University of Illinois without compromising quality. Many small organizations are given inflated prices on shirts that make their orders unrealistic. Many large organizations do not utilize their size to leverage a low price and end up paying hundreds of dollars extra on each order. Project Orange is asking your organization to commit to being a part of a large contract of student organizations unit To encourage high school students from a low socioeconomic status to pursue higher education. We do this by inviting a group of students from chicago inner city high school's down to our University to stay for an all expenses paid conference. We make sure they attend classes with their mentor and they enjoy a number of academic and social events over a 3 day span.
