Additional Jester Activities Lone Star Flight Museum The largest collection of restored WWI and WWII flying aircraft. Passenger rides are available in either the B-17 “Flying Fortress, the B-25 of Doolittle’s Raiders fame, a Stearman or a T-6 Trainer. Advanced reservations are necessary. Join your fellow Jesters on a ride you will never forget. There will be an optional Wednesday night Jesters only dinner in the Flight Museum. Don’t miss it. Texas Seaport Museum & 1877 Tall Ship ELISSA Pier 21. Jesters can share the adventure of the high seas at the Texas Seaport Museum, home of the 1877 Tall Ship Elissa. Explore the decks of this sailing National Historic Landmark and imagine the days when daring sailors challenged the world’s oceans. In the adjacent museum and theater, witness the story of ELISSA’s dramatic rescue from the scrap and her meticulous restoration. Offshore Energy Center (OEC) operates its state-of-the-art facility, the Ocean Star. Jesters can step on board, tour the completely refurbished jackup drilling rig, absorb the day-to-day excitement of offshore drilling and production, marine transportation, environmental protection, construction, pipelining - all experienced through three decks of videos, equipment exhibits and interactive displays. It’s a museum, educational attraction and working drilling rig all rolled into one. Local Sightseeing Tours – Treasure Island Tour Train, Galveston Duck Boat Tours (land and sea) Aerial Tours through the local airport-Scholes International Airport, adjacent to Moody Garden Hotel, Galveston Island Trolley, The Colonel Paddlewheel Boat, Galveston Island Ferry, Galveston Historical Foundation’s Sacred Places Tour and Historical Homes Tour. Galveston Island is known for sun, sea and sand galore, but that is just for starters! The incredible Moody Gardens Resort is located on this tropical island.
