Soul & Spine Class Descriptions Kundalini Yoga & Meditation Classes present ancient yogic techniques to unify body, mind and spirit. Classes include movement, postures, strength training, mudras (hand positions), mantras (chant), & meditation. All classes end with Deep Relaxation that may include scented towels, essential oil treatments or Reiki Energy Healing. Please come to increase flexibility, boost metabolism, maintain a healthy weight, open spiritual awareness, relieve depression & insomnia, restore energy & vitality, promote self love, feel happy and centered and SO much more! Slow Flow Yoga & Relaxation A gentle Vinyasa-style Yoga class with emphasis on alignment in each posture and mindful movement. Learn how to benefit from a gentle flow of toning and releasing yoga postures feeling the stretch in new, helpful and safe ways. All classes end with Deep Relaxation that may include scented towels, essential oil treatments or Reiki Energy Healing. Breath Walk Meditation Breath Walk is the ultimate fitness program for everybody! It is simple, natural and effective combining specific breathing patterns synchronized with walking steps and enhanced with the art of directed meditative attention. This class will give you positive results for both physical and mental fitness. Please dress in layers as we will be outside. Hatha Yoga A Hatha-based practice suitable for all levels, rooted in linking the breath with movement. Postures will stretch/strengthen your body as well as open and focus your mind and spirit. All classes end with Deep Relaxation that may include scented towels, essential oil treatments or Reiki Energy Healing. Hatha Yoga Basics A shorter version of Hatha Yoga with a beginner focus. This is a Hatha-based practice suitable for all levels, rooted in linking the breath with movement. Postures will stretch/strengthen your body as well as open and focus your mind and spirit. Essential Pilates Beginning level class designed to teach students the 5 STOTT Pilates Principles as well as all Essential Level Pilates exercises. Focus on postural alignment, core strength, pelvic placement, shoulder girdle stability, stretching/lengthening of major muscle groups and bringing overall balance into the body. Yoga Pilates Fusion The best of both worlds! A beginner level class designed to build core strength and stretch out all major muscles groups. Learn breathing techniques from both methods and learn how to incorporate them into you daily life and other workouts! Experienced Pilates Intermediate level class designed to build on the student’s knowledge of the 5 STOTT Pilates Principles as well as all Essential Level Pilates exercises. Focus on postural alignment, core strength, pelvic placement, shoulder girdle stability, stretching/lengthening of major muscle groups and bringing overall balance into the body. The pace of the class is slightly faster and intermediate and advanced exercises are introduced. Mom & Me Yoga A class for moms and their children! Children are naturally radiant, aware, and full of innocent wisdom. Yoga helps them maintain their natural radiance, or if their light has been dulled by events in their lives, it helps them regain their inherent state of being. Children who do yoga have an advantage. For example, yoga helps children become more self-confident and self-aware, as well as more physically fit. Yoga has been known to help with many medical conditions, such as asthma, insomnia, digestive problems, ADD and learning disabilities, to name a few. In this class we do fun Yoga poses, sing, play games and give your child the self confidence to be who they truly are! Family Yoga Classes may be reserved for just you and your family! We can make this a fun Yoga Play evening for all ages. Cost is $25 for each family and 1-2 families can sign-up per night (depending on the size). The studio will accommodate 4-8 ~ It only matters how cozy you and the Family like to be!
