Description: Barclays E-vision is real time application framework developed using Abinitio Continuous flows and Web services components . Evision is Fraud detection system which continuously get request 24X7 for debit cards related customer transactions declined by third party vendor RSA due to potential risk of fraud associated with it. Evision validate the request on the basis of certain set of predefined rules and checks and then send interactive SMS to customers regarding particular transaction via IMI(Barclays Mobile SMS vendor) to verify genuine transactions. As per basis of response of customer E-vision update the status to RSA again and also sends details to Barclays Evision Fraud OPS team if any fraud detected. Currently there is a set of bespoke code that is being run in technology such as Informatica and SAS that is doing data integration mainly in data warehousing and marts space.

This has been identified to be deprecated in a phased manner built to future architecture. The start will be with Informatica replacement and then moving on to the other tools and technologies The current process in Informatica perform sourcing from key operational systems such as SV, EPPIX, CDR, PPMed etc. and loading into RSA, RA, EDW2, EDW as the main downstream targets. Tesco PLC is a British multinational grocery and general merchandise retailer headquartered in Cheshunt, United Kingdom. It is the third-largest retailer in the world. Tesco has decided to do the future developments in SOA model. For implementation of this modular approach, generic graph patterns or adapters need to be developed. Generic pattern includes Extractor, Joiner, CDE, Transmitter, Normalizer, Extract-Join-CDC etc. These generic graphs later communicate with each other as per business requirement and also configured in ACE. Solvency II is based around the need for European Insurers to calculate their solvency according to the international rules, evaluate and manage their risk and report on solvency of the local regulators.

It is being implemented in order to protect the consumer from an insurer failure; such a failure could include a catastrophe such as flood and result in insurers being unable to payout on insurance claims. As part of the directive, Standard Life will need to go through an internal model approval process (IMAP). In order to successfully complete the IMAP process Standard Life will need to illustrate how their Solvency II solution will enable compliance to the European regulation. Ab-Initio is used as data integration tool for this solution architecture. Scope is the full range of ETL processes that capture/extract data from source administration systems and extends through all the ETL processes involved in providing data to various staging/intermediate data repositories up to and including those used for final analysis and reporting. Roles and Responsibilities:  Involved in complete life cycle of phase-1 and Phase-2 part of the project.  Responsible for functional specs review and raise defects in initial phase.  Development of generic and other complex bespoke graphs.  Understanding and implementation of the business rules by referring S2T mapping document.  Creation of Automated Test Harness for all the graphs developed, using Ab-Initio Plan/Conduct>It.  Unit testing by creating the proper test data.  Code review of graphs developed by other members of the team. Technology : Ab Initio Co>Operating System (2.15), GDE 1.15, UNIX, Teradata, Plan and Conduct>It Description:  IFM is a COAF developed secure, auditable application that receives and consolidates fulfillment requests from a diversified set of requesting sources AND fulfills on those requests to various systems/vendors.  IFM Provides single platform to interact with external vendors and internal vendors thus, reducing multiple communication channels which helps with improved turnaround time, better service and single point of escalation.  IFM Provides a Common Interface –for both the DA Community and Upstream Automated target fulfillment systems.  IFM Introduces Action Types and Flows (combination of action types) and Target Fulfillment Processes those are reusable by any requestor.  IFM Supports Orchestrations (Serial and Parallel) to handle dependency between action types within a flow.  IFM Provides Reconciliation Services (Record Level and File Level Reconciliation) which would update source systems with the status of each and every record sent over to target.  IFM supports Continuous Flows to make a real time transmission (For sending email and SMS alerts) .  IFM handles all target specific DQ checks while transmitting the data. Roles and Responsibilities:  Responsibility included development and design of graphs.  Work on complete cycle of analysis, design and development on stories like Control Process Improvement, Performance optimization in Orchestrations, Archival process Enhancement which are most important processes in IFM.  Undertake performance improvement analysis.  Test case preparation, Unit Testing, dependency analysis in EME.  Production Support, cycle monitoring and report creation.
